Important Livestock Dates

April 20th - Steer Validation will take place at the school barns beginning at 8 am. A more detailed schedule will be sent out closer to the date.

June 5th - Broiler Orders and payments are due by 5:00 pm. Forms and payment are available online.

June 12th - Hog, Lamb and Goat Entries are due by 5:00 pm. Forms and payment are available online.

June 12th - 14th - Turkey Distribution - 7:00-8:00 pm - Turkey distribution will be announced the week of distribution based on shipping date. Please bring a box to transport your poults. Contact us at plsrlivestock@gmail.com with questions.

June 22nd - Hog, Lamb & Goat Validation - 8:00 am - 12 pm - Hog, lamb and goat validations will take place at the school barns beginning at 8 am. A more detailed schedule will be sent out closer to the date. Hog exhibitors must have a completed ear notch form ready to be collected by validators.

July 31st - Rabbit Entries Due 5:00 pm - Form is available online

Aug. 1st - Commitment Sale is Open - The Commitment Sale is open from Aug. 1st to the Tuesday of Show. Help support our exhibitors who don't make the Auction and commit to purchasing an animal (or a few!). Please contact Karen at plsrlivestock@gmail.com or 713-261-5580, if you have any questions.

Aug. 9th - Broiler distribution - 7:00-8:00 pm - Broiler chicks will be distributed beginning at 7 pm. Please have a box to transport your chicks.

Aug. 13th - Heifer Entry form and payment due by 5:00 pm

Aug. 15th - Rabbit Validation/Tattoo - 7:00-9:00 pm - Rabbit validation will begin at 7 pm. Any exhibitor with rabbits must be on the grounds by 8 pm.

Aug. 29th - Ag Mechanics and Floral Design entry forms and payment due by 5:00 pm. Entry forms and payment are available online.
