The PLSR-Junior Rodeo Committee is kicking off for the 2024 Rodeo season and is now accepting applications! JRC Meetings are typically held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. We will start off the year by welcoming current 8th-12th grade students to apply to join JRC for 2024

JRC Mission Statement: To provide leadership development and service opportunities for area high school students.

JRC Purpose: To allow younger members an opportunity to serve the community and to be an important part of PLSR’s membership through work assignments to various committees within the organization.

As a member of JRC, students will

• Have a better understanding of the PLS&R Association
• Develop Leadership Skills by working with adult mentors within PLS&R
• Have eligibility to apply for PLS&R Scholarship opportunities
• Earn service hours
• Develop new friendships and experience fun combined with hard work
• Receive badge access allowing entry to both the cook-off and rodeo (with paid membership)
