What time does the Rodeo start?
• Weekday rodeos start at 7:30 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 9:15 p.m. Pasadena Rodeo gates open at 5 p.m.
• Sunday rodeo start at 2:30 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 5:15 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at noon.
What time does the concert start?
The entertainers perform after the last Rodeo event is complete each evening and the stage is set. Actual start times for the concert can vary day by day due to the different number of rodeo competitors and other production elements.

Do you allow service animals?
Service animals are defined as dogs (or miniature horses when reasonable) that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for persons with disabilities. Such animals are welcome in areas where the public is normally allowed to go.
Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the individual's disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
What are the age restrictions for Mutton Bustin and how much does it cost?
Participation is limited to boys and girls between the ages of 4-7 and weighing less than 60lbs., at the time of competition. Entries for the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo Mutton Bustin' will be online ONLY. Check-In will be at 6pm each night of the event. Sunday will be 1pm.
Parents may register their children for Mutton Bustin' if they fit the above stated criteria.
The cost is online $40.00 per ride or $50.00 the day of the ride if spots are available.
What precautions are you taking during the event?
The safety of the community, patrons, sponsors, and volunteers are of utmost importance. Rodeo Pasadena has implemented measures to provide a safe environment for youth exhibitors, rodeo athletes and rodeo fans.
Firearms and Weapons Policy?
The Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo, in an effort to provide a safe environment and promote a family-friendly atmosphere, will prohibit concealed and open carry of firearms by private citizens anywhere on the Rodeo Grounds. This prohibition includes Firearms and/or ammunition (licensed or unlicensed) pursuant to Texas Penal Code § 30.06 and 30.07. Other prohibited items include:
• Firearms and/or ammunition.
• Air guns, BB Guns, pellet guns, paintball guns and slingshots.
• Firearm replicas, including non-firing imitations, toys and their components.
• Other Weapons of any kind. Legal pocketknives are permitted.
• Any items deemed inappropriate or hazardous by PLSR security.
SECURITY SCREENINGS AND PROHIBITED ITEMS
Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo security procedures include but are not limited to performing body wand and bag checks at several entrance gates, and random bag checks at all gates.
The Rodeo does not have a clear bag policy on the grounds. Small purses or backpacks for personal items are allowed. Baby strollers and wagons are also allowed

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
• air horns
• alcohol
• banners bearing advertisements
• banners judged to be in poor taste or offensive
• beach balls
• firearms
• fireworks
• hover boards
• laser pointers
• professional camera equipment (photography lenses over 3 inches in length)
• weapons
• whistles
Audio recording is not allowed at the event.
Video recording is not allowed in the arena.
