I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the 77th Board of
Directors of the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo. It has been an unusual
last couple of weeks as we navigated the many changes that have taken place
over the past year, but the election is now behind us, and the Board is
officially in place.
Change can be unsettling for some, but it is
essential to keep an organization from becoming stagnant. An event-driven
organization like the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo must stay current
with both technology and public trends to ensure continued interest and strong
attendance at our events.
Over the next two years, I look forward to
working closely with the Committee Chairs in our monthly meetings as we design
and implement upgrades and improvements. I also look forward to working with
the Board of Directors on funding and approvals. The success of our Rodeo
events is truly a team effort—one that relies on the E-Board, Board of
Directors, Committee Chairs, and Committee Members working together to make
everything happen.
Will we always agree on every decision?
Absolutely not. But agreement is not required for the Association to continue
producing exceptional events and raising money to support the education of
youth in our area and the betterment of our community.
